worth noting I want to implement boosts as a carousel, where their context/thread can be fetched if desired but by default they will be shown together, out of context

thinking about how to handle boosts:

  • when boosts come in, fetch their referent and convoy as normal
  • place boosts in their own carousel separate from the main index view
  • clicking on a boost switches to thread view and focuses the boosted note
